Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience with modern web technologies, including WordPress, and enhance your coding skills through real-world projects. Successful interns may also be considered for full-time employment based on their performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and maintaining websites using WordPress, including theme customization and plugin integration.
• Work on front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate on front-end development using frameworks like React or Angular to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Support back-end development with technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python.
• Implement and manage content updates on WordPress websites.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing processes.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js or Python.
• Good grasp of web development principles and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Knowledge of Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility.
